Donaghmore Ashbourne u9's boys travelled to St Pats Donabate for a football challenge match on Saturday morning.

The boys are still adjusting to the u9 rules and received a very strong lesson on the value of accurate passing and keeping possession. As the wind picked up and whipped around the ground, the players battled hard to make ground.

Donabate had some very good passing segments and skillful players, and it took some very strong individual performances by DonAsh players to manufacture their scoring opportunities.

Well done to all the players today. A very good run out and plenty of areas to improve upon which is always a good way to have it. Training resumes in earnest this week.

February training will switch to Wednesdays 6pm-7pm.

New players of all abilities are always welcome.
