Ladies Football.  A big week for Don/Ash Lgfa as the Junior Ladies won the Kepak Junior D Championship on Saturday. The seniors and juniors kick off their league next weekend.   Good luck to our u14 and u16 girls who are playing in their respective Div2 Cup finals this weekend. Hard luck to our u14 Div8 girls and our u12A and u12 reserves girls who all narrowly missed out on a spot in their cup finals and start their u13 league in 2 weeks.

Juvenile Congratulation to our Minor Football team and mentors on reaching the Division 2 Championship Final after beating favourites Kilbride 2.13 to 2-10 in a thrilling semi-final played out in Kilbride. The final v Navan O’Mahony’s will be held in Skryne next Friday the 25th September. Best of luck to all involved.

Our Minor Hurlers unfortunately bowed out of the Championship yesterday with a defeat 1-5 to 1-11 by the combined clubs of Loughcrew Gaels / Gaeil Colmcille. We wish the Cianán,Daragh,Sean and Shane well as they progress from minor to adult hurling next year. They and their parents yesterday recounted amazing road trips and battles throughout the county of Meath and memories made at underage games to last a lifetime. Best of luck in the future lads. #donash
