A tough start to this year’s championship for the Don/ Ash team, playing away in Trim it was an even first half with some great scores been taken by both sides. However, just before half time a couple of quick-fire goals gave Trim the advantage at the break.

Half-time score: Trim 4-07 Don/ Ash 2-03

The second half was not as entertaining as the first half but a dogged performance by the Don/ Ash girls saw them dominate territory and possession, but they could not turn that domination into the scores required.
