Two super performances by our U13 Division 8 team in recent days. They travelled to Bective last week for our re-fixed game, thankfully the weather was much improved this time, no torrential rain! The girls put in a really strong performance in a hard fought contest and claimed a well-deserved draw.

This week the girls made the short trip over to play against our local rivals Ratoath in an eagerly anticipated tie. We began the game very strongly with a number of great scores in the first quarter. Ratoath came back into the game but our girls went in at the break with a deserved two-point lead. The second half followed a similar pattern, we started strongly but as the half went on Ratoath took control to win by a goal in the end. The mentors could not be more proud of all our girls for their efforts in training and games, thanks to all the parents for their continued support too.
